Chocolate Protein Bar Recipe
Who doesn’t like chocolate protein bars? After all, why does good eating have to be associated with twigs, berries, and misery? Anyone who has built muscle and dropped bodyfat knows that you don’t need to eat dry and bland foods to get in shape. You do need to spend some time in the kitchen; and this protein bar recipe will make you fall in love with baking – not because the recipe is so time consuming but because you’ll keep zipping through these protein bars in no time!

Ingredients
Amount | Item |
6 scoops | Chocolate flavored milk protein |
1 | Farm raised egg |
1 | Farm raised egg white |
½ cup | Pecan meal* |
½ cup | Almond meal* |
½ cup | Organic peanut butter |
½ cup | Flaxseed meal |
¼ cup | Splenda |
1 tbsp | Cocoa powder |
¼ tsp | Pink sea salt |
*You can find almond meal in most stores, although pecan meal will be harder to come by. Simply buy some raw pecans and shred them up in a coffee grinder.
Steps
Number | Step |
1 | Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a baking sheet with coconut cooking spray |
2 | Take all the ingredients and mix them in a bowl |
3 | If the mixture is too solid, add a bit of almond milk and stir. Keep adding a small amount until moist |
4 | Spread the mixture through the pan and bake for 6-12 minutes |
5 | Let them cool and enjoy! |
