I’m Marc – the owner here at Upper Echelon Fitness and Performance. Actually, I’m the co-owner along with my wife, but since my formal education is in sports science, I handle all the personal training done at the studio. As a client at Upper Echelon, I’ll be handling your nutrition and training while my wife helped designed the very site you’re currently reading (and what a great job she did!)

While you can read more about me here, I’ll get to the point: my wife and I developed a private personal training studio with the purpose of delivering serious strength and conditioning to our clients. Don’t worry – that doesn’t mean I approach the workouts with a drill sergeant mentality (I don’t wear fatigues at the studio). I’m concerned with:
- Teaching you how to move properly
- Helping clean up some of your nutrition habits
- Showing you the ins and outs of a good workout routine
Above all else, I just want you to have a workout that gets you strong, lean, and in great shape. Investing in your fitness is awesome, but I also know it can be a bit scary to start working with a trainer. It’s probably best to explain what you can expect when you work out at Upper Echelon.
I’ve worked with a wide array of clients with various goals. There’s a chance that you may be in search of six pack abs. Maybe you’re looking for pain free movement and better stamina to keep up with the daily grind of life. Or you have that old pair of jeans you’re determined to get back into no matter what.
You simply want to get fit and feel more confident in your day to day life and we can work together to achieve that.
All of these goals are commendable and doable.
Here’s what you’ll experience as a personal training client:
- You’ll burn body fat. Clients lose an average of 2.5% bodyfat per month.
- Your clothes will fit differently. Dropping around 5.5 pounds a month (once again, just an average) you’ll also shave an inch off your waist in your first four weeks.
- You’ll get strong too! Most clients increase their strength by 22% in their first month and a half. Those jars of peanut butter won’t be so hard to open anymore!
- Want to know the coolest thing of all? Friends and family will start to notice all the changes you’ve made. We can’t promise they’ll tag along with you in your journey, but you’ll definitely be turning heads.
